Your Memphis Grizzlies have announced that Ja Morant, who is expected to play on Friday, will be handing out 250 tickets to fans on Wednesday Dec. 10, at 2 PM inside FedEx Forum, first-come, first-serve.
Limit two per adult.
This is everything Ja truly is. It is a small gesture, but something that most of the national NBA media will sweep under the rug.
He is coming back on his day 12/12, so why not give out some tickets to fans. If anyone has seen the Grizzlies play the last few weeks, there should be a line down the block at Noon for these tickets.
They have slowly started to climb back out of the hole and doing so with some incredible defensive efforts. This is all without a true point guard.
Since his calf injury, almost a month ago, he has been more engaged with not only the players, but the entire coaching staff.
I have seen him talking with Iisalo about matchups, what he is seeing, what he wants him to do when he gets back on the court, etc. If he is bought in, which it looks like he is, we might be on the verge of some fun Grizzlies games.
For fans that won’t get a pair of the tickets, there is another offer out there to score some cheap tickets.
The Grizzlies also announced that there are tickets as low as $12, with lower bowl starting at $40 for Friday’s game against the Utah Jazz.
