Colin Rafferty –
Your Memphis Grizzlies are back on the home floor tonight against the Los Angeles Clippers.
What is better than a Friday night game with a giveaway and some cool new merch, provided by 191 Collabs and Memphis streetwear designer ‘Hippy.’
The giveaway tonight is a pair of aviator sunglasses, one’s that resemble the pair that Memphis music legend Isaac Hayes wore on his ‘Black Moses’ album cover.
Get there early to make sure you are one of the first 5,000 fans inside the building.
Now for the game at hand, the Grizzlies did their part on November 28 beating the Clippers 112-107, after trailing by 13 at the half.
Since then, the Clippers have gone 1-2 losing to the Mav’s and Heat, while beating the Hawks. The Clippers haven’t been a good team all year and just recently told Chris Paul that he was relieved of his duties, during his retirement tour.
Things are not looking great for them, and the Grizzlies will need to continue their streak of beating teams with a worse record than them.

For the Grizz, they have split the two games since beating the Clippers. The Spurs game was one that was within grasp, but just like the first game, were unable to stay with them at the end.
Cam Spencer has been shooting lights out recently, and Zach Edey has provided the big man edge needed to stay in games. They will be called on once again to make a difference.
Jaylen Wells has also come back around and started to hit the shots, that weren’t falling in the beginning of the season. If he gets going, there is not a lot of guys who can stop him. He’s quick to shoot and savvy enough of a player to know when to attack the rim.
UPDATE: Ja Morant is listed as Day-to-Day as he is recovering from a calf strain the last 2 weeks, he was seen in team workouts and practice yesterday. Coach Iisalo said he is progressing well and that we could see him on this homestand.
Tonight, Morant is listed as OUT.

The Grizzlies will play three home games that will end on next Friday. Sunday against the Trail Blazers, then 5 days off before the Jazz come into play.
If I am reading the Grizzlies tea leaves correctly, he will be back for the Jazz game.
A short homestand that features teams with losing records, that is good for the Grizzlies as they climb their way out of the hole dug at the beginning of the season.
The Clippers are looking to snap a 5-game losing streak, they will come out hot in the frist half, as they do every game, but fall apart in the second. If the Grizzlies can just stay in it through the first half, they should be able to pull it out by the time the clock hits triple zeros.
Tip-off is at 7 PM CST, get there early to score the Isaac Hayes sunglasses and get into the Grizz Den to grab some of the fresh new pieces from 191 Collabs.
Don’t forget to wear the bear! Holllllllllaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
