Partners for Delta Innovation
Arkansas State University (A-State) is teaming up with Epicenter Memphis to power a new wave of student entrepreneurship across the Delta region. The EpicenterU: Students to Startups program launches with substantial support—nearly $800,000—thanks to a grant from the Delta Regional Authority (DRA). This initiative will connect college students with experienced Memphis entrepreneurs, giving fresh talent a firsthand look at what it takes to build thriving businesses in the Mid-South.
How EpicenterU Works
The EpicenterU program, based at A-State, will link students directly to startup opportunities, mentorships, and real-world challenges relevant to our region. Epicenter Memphis is nationally known for nurturing Memphis innovators, and their collaboration means students will benefit from the city’s powerful network of business minds. Epicenter Memphis is dedicated to sparking growth throughout the 901 and beyond by helping new businesses and social ventures get started.

With Memphis businesses leading the way, the EpicenterU initiative supports student internships, workshops, and idea acceleration, all designed to boost the regional economy.
