Colin Rafferty –
Well it’s been an interesting 24 hours since the Grizzlies last played a game on Friday.
Ja Morant has been suspended for 1 game, for what was called “conduct detremental to the team” after the loss to the Lakers.
It is said that head coach Toumas Iisalo had called out Ja’s leadership and play in front of everybody post game, to which Ja responded in a manner that the Grizzlies felt they needed to make a statement to him.
I hope this is the last we hear of this.
Shams Charania, ESPN lead NBA insider, has made claims that teams are “monitoring the situation” with Ja and the Grizzlies. They wont, or shouldn’t move on from him.
Now to the game, The Raptors come off a win against the Cavaliers on Friday 112-101. They are 2-4 on the season and led by Scottie Barnes and Brandon Ingram.
Grizz should look out for RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickly to be all over the place, creating turnovers and opportunities for others.

The Grizzlies starting lineup will look like this:
Cam Spencer PG, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope SG, Jaylen Wells SF, Jaren Jackson Jr. PF, Jock Landale C
They should look to give big effort after the events of Friday, even if the lineup isn’t great and are already behind the eight-ball due to injuries.
It will be a tought game without Ja, but a game that hopefully we can see Jaylen Wells get on the right path.
Cam Spencer will be the starting point guard with Wells, Small, and a committee of players handling the duties along the way.
Jaren will need to come up big and not get into foul trouble, something he did very well last year and the year prior when Ja wasn’t on the floor.
To Ja, buddy I hope you’re coming back with a fire under you that will have the fans and city relaxing about how messy Halloween was. 12 is still the guy and my guy.
The people of Toronto have been giving all their attention to the Blue Jays as they just wrapped up the Fall Classic, losing to the L.A. Dodgers in 7 games. An incredible series that was hard fought, and the Grizz will want to capitalize on the moment get a win and get out of there.
Show some tenacity and resolve and get this win.
Tip off is at 5:00 pm CST in Toronto, Canada. A full day of sports once again, be sure to tune in and cheer on the Grizz!
